This is a very good microscope for the price. I wasn't expecting much from it but I was defiantly surprised @ how well it performed. It set up easily , and the image quality is very sharp. I'm using it mainly to solder small electronic circuits , but I couldn't resist viewing all kinds of things I had around the house for fun. I had a cheap toy microscope when I was a kid, I wish I had this unit back then! I have mine set up on my workbench & connected to my an old Galaxy note 3. I have it right behind & above the scope, so I only have to look up a few inches & not turn my head to look @ a monitor while soldering. If I use it to view odds & ends I find I hook it up to my large computer monitor.
I bought one as a gift. Tried it out before send it out and actually kept it. I then bought two more. The scope showed me a more defined picture than that of my Dino Lite digital microscope. Definitely worth it
This microscope is so great! It is an amazing deal for the price. I saw ones similar to this at a NSTA Conference for about $200. You are able to adjust the light and the zoom, but in order to focus you need to physically move the microscope up and down, which can prove challenging. Once you get the perfect height, though, the stand holds it steady. I think it's worth it to spend a little extra for the metal stand they offer. The picture quality is great and so cool for photos. The apps work well with my Samsung - no issues yet! Would suggest this to anyone and everyone who is curious about science!
just got microscope today and followed instructions for install into my home PC, it wasnt that hard to get working, it took about 15 minutes and I was in business, fun to use and with the usb cable I could move the microscope around and just for fun look in my ear or nose..I bought it to look at pests on plants and to ID them, so it works good for what I need it todo..
Very easy to use, set up is no problem. I was surprised to see it working so well. At the price I honestly expected something probably not fit for purpose. I was wrong! I wanted to see very small details in my work and an ordinary microscope would not work for me because of the design. This works very well with the front lighting. Great stuff!
Omg... This is so amazing. And for the money it's a steal. Plugged into phone..Moto g7 and Samsung pad, downloaded the app OTG view and all done in a matter of seconds. Kids live it. Will keep us entertained for days with this lock down. 100% worth it
Plugged into USB on Mac opened photo booth and works perfectly. Very impressed cheers
Great deal - for the price, I'm okay with a somewhat non-HD video quality. But, come on, for this price, pretty awesome. I've used it on my Android phone, on a Mac, and (most productively) on my Chromebook. Bought it to look at electronics up close, but am having a lot of fun just poking around the yard with it. Adjustable focus and LEDs (both manual, so you have to have a steady hand).
I had my doubts at first but this inexpensive microscopes does everything that I wanted it for.I do a lot of roll searching of coins and using the microscope in the hand held position has cut my time in half, not only can I quickly check coins for dates but can zero in on them and check the tiniest of detail.I love the sharp picture that I can watch on my computer screen, for the price this small microscope has outdone itself.I definitely would refer to my friends .
Just got my OKZoomer HD microscope! I love it! I want to dabble in close up photography.
Great gadget that brings the microcosmos of daily life to your fingertips! Loved it from the get go and many hours of exciting discoveries lay ahead! But the documentation is rather poor and the instructions are only for windows PC. I had to scramble to find how it works for my Mac. To save you time, it does not work through the Mac App. Rather, you need to open the built-in Preview App and go to camera in the tab and select the Magic Zoom digital microscope, then it works like a charm. However what I am writing here should be in the package instructions, so many people have Macs. I also deduced a star cause it disappointingly does not plug into the iPhone, so I cannot use it on excursions, I ll have to collect samples and bring them home. But still, a very nice device at super price!
My daughter can't stop exploring with this microscope! Very surprised how easy to set up. Less than 10sec, download the app and connect to your device. Not professional but good enough for a kid and teenager to play around and discover things.” —Laurie G
This is a beautiful piece of technology available at an amazing price. This is a shot of some micronized siltstone powder, it takes you right in there to another world.
I love this camera microscope! It is exactly what I needed a decade ago, when I was doing microwear analysis of stone tools for my masters’ thesis. I’m not doing microwear analysis anymore, but I’m using this to spark my daughter’s interest in the natural world. I also recommended this to a colleague who needs a camera microscope that won’t cost him an arm and a leg
A great camera. I am actually blown away by the resolution. Find a favorite usb camera app for your phone, and begin shooting. This picture is from a pair of gym shorts
The device appears small and fragile. Do not be fooled! The optics and lighting and computer interface are excellent. I can't imagine a better value. I'm using it primarily for botany, but am discovering so many other fun applications. Highly recommended. (Mount the suction cup base to your smart phone screen. This makes minor adjustments so in position and focus so much easier.)
OMG. This product is awesome. It takes pics of the smallest things and shows you up close. This pic is my dogs pad on her foot. Who would have thought that. It would make a great gift for just about anybody. Oh and easy to use and not too bad on pricing too. I highly recommend buying this product
